The word “smooth” doesn’t come close to describing what Kevin Durant’s jump shot looks like. Maybe “silky smooth” does his “J” a little more justice, but even that falls way short, kind of like the defenders who make valiant attempts to put a paw on one Durant’s long-distance net-finders. He’s three inches shy of being 7 feet tall, and when he raises the ball high above his head and seems to float in the air just a split second longer than the man guarding him, it’s game over. You don’t become an NBA scoring champion — he’s done it three years running and is the youngest to ever rake in three, and you can bet he’s not done — by feasting on lay-ups and dunks alone. Artist Mike Orduna, also known as Fatoe, is a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator from Los Angeles. In addition to personal and commission work, he has produced artwork for such entities as Nike, Jordan Brand, and Sony.
