About the Art

Rock poster artist Scrojo commemorates one of the NBA’s greatest trios of all time, the Golden State Wariors RunTMC, with his vintage screen-print-style art piece. Available in limited edition fine art prints and stretched canvases.

You wouldn’t catch Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond or Chris Mullin wearing black fedoras, sporting gold rope chains, wearing Adidas with no laces or shredding microphones with some of the slickest raps of all time. In other words, the Golden State trio was no Run DMC. They were simply “Run TMC,” rocking the sneakers off players who tried to keep up with the run-and-gun group. Hardaway, Richmond and Mullin joined forces to electrify arenas all over the land from 1989-90 through 1990-91. In the short but sweet-beyond-belief “Run TMC” era in Northern California, the Warriors ranked among the NBA’s top two scoring teams in each of those seasons, making Golden State’s offense the envy of the entire NBA.
