Here’s a quick topic for debate: Who was more nervous about the mighty Shaquille O’Neal joining the Lakers in 1996? Was it the NBA as a whole, knowing that Los Angeles was loading up to establish another dynasty, or was it officials at the U.S. Geological Survey, worried that a few of the “Diesel’s” rim-rocking dunks could be enough to trigger the San Andreas fault? O’Neal’s throw-downs were nasty enough to shake any confidence opponents had.  The center was a unique specimen, larger than life, able to brush off double and triple teams as if they weren’t even there. He was strong enough to put L.A. on his back and carry it to a three-peat of Larry O’Brien Trophies starting in 1999-00. O’Neal was the NBA Finals MVP in each of those championship runs. 

About the Artist

Krzysztof Domaradski, also known as Kxx, is an artist, illustrator and graphic designer from Poland. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan were he received his Masters degree in Drawing and Metal Techniques. His work has been featured by numerous brands including Nike, Audi, Diesel, Sony, and Volkswagen. His brother Grzegorz is also featured as an artist on RareInk.
